Diagnostic Imaging Services at West Florida Healthcare provides inpatient and outpatient services in the following areas:

Diagnostic Imaging Services utilizes a state-of–the-art PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), that acquires, stores and retrieves diagnostic images. Images can be retrieved at any time and viewed in a matter of minutes, enabling physicians to make decisions and begin treatment much more quickly.  The digital images are available to any physician on campus, at our primary and immediate care locations and in offices of those physicians within the West Florida Healthcare family.

Our highly skilled Radiologists, Radiology Associates of Pensacola, P.A. and Interventional Radiology Consultants provide interventional and interpretive services. This, in conjunction with our PACS technology and our commitment to total quality care, makes West Florida Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging Services the imaging leader in Northwest Florida.

For your convenience, complimentary Valet Parking is available at the hospital's main entrance as well as the entrance to the Rehabilitation Institute.

Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

This accreditation has only been given to 52 organizations in the state of Florida and is a testament to the level of quality care that you can expect from our physicians and staff. The American College of Radiology recognized breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in:

  • Digital Mammography
  • Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Ultrasound-guided Breast Biopsy
