Therapy Scholarship Program
Through the Therapy Scholarship Program, West Florida Hospital provides college tuition assistance, up to $23,000 per school year, for accredited Therapy Programs to pay for tuition, books, laboratory and school fees. Eligible Therapy Programs include Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate’s Degree, Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT), and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT). The Therapy Scholarship will be awarded to one student each year for the PTA program and one for the DPT program, and one student every two years for the MOT program.
In return for this tuition assistance, upon successful completion of the program and receiving appropriate licensure, the selected recipient is expected to fulfill the scholarship agreement with full-time employment at West Florida Hospital as a licensed professional in that discipline with one year of work for every school year that was completed through West Florida Hospital’s tuition assistance.
